Remove names from the open electoral register
  1. You can use this Cornwall Council form to let us know that one or more individuals wish to 'opt out' of the open electoral register.

    To find out more information about the Open Register, Full Register and other questions relating to elections you can refer to the governments About My Vote site.
  1. Please provide the full name of the individual you want to request to remove from the open register. You will have the option to request other people to be removed on the next page
  1. After searching for your postcode please select your address from the results. The address highlighted in blue will be the selected address
  1. Please provide a method of contact should the electoral team need to contact you about your request
  1. The Electoral Registration Officer will only use the information you give them for electoral purposes. They will look after personal information securely and will follow data protection legislation. They will not give personal information about you or any personal information you may provide on other people to anyone else or another organisation unless they have to by law.

    The lawful basis to collect the information in this form is that it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest and exercise of official authority as vested in the Electoral Registration Officer as set out in Representation of the People Act 1983 and associated regulations.
